St. Patty’s Day Ideas

It’s March and that means it is almost St. Patricks Day and Easter and also my Dad’s birthday.

We’ve never really celebrated St. Patrick’s Day, which is kind of crazy considering e are Irish (although I think the only way you could tell is by our last name) but we don’t do a whole lot to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. We make sure to wear something green, otherwise there is someone in our family that would be pinching you all day, and we did go to a St. Patty’s Day parade in Hot Springs parade with our grandparents one year, our grandpa pulled a float with his green truck and we rode in it with him, other than that we really haven’t done much to celebrate. I haven’t made any crafts or anything, except for in school.  This year I am thinking about actually making some St. Patrick’s Day crafts and maybe snacks, so here are some ideas for you guys.

This is such a cute idea! A breakfast fit for a leprechaun! My Sister’s Suitcase

I’ve seen several banners, but I think this one is my favorite! Simple As That Blog

I love this! It’s so simple yet pretty. It would be such a cute decoration for a table or really anywhere in your home. Simple As That Blog

Pot of Gold Cake pops. These are cute, if you can get the cake pops to stay on the stick. Joy in the Jumble

Enjoy what’s left of your weekend! 🙂

Florida Part 1

We had a great vacation, despite the fact that Anna spent a whole day in the hospital and my dad, Ryan, and Lydia got sick the day we were leaving. I love Florida and the beaches, I would probably live there if I could, My bedroom is decorated with beachy things, but I’m glad to be home. Traveling home with 3 sick people was kind of hard, they were so weak they could barely carry anything through the airport, Lydia could barely even stand. Thankfully in the Charlotte, NC airport they had shuttles, because that airport his huge, we had to go from one end to the other. It would have taken us forever to get to our gate. Here are some pictures from the trip. Since I have so many pictures I am going to break them up into a couple different posts.

IMG_0471The window was pretty dirty, so it was hard to get a very good picture, for some reason my camera wanted to focus on the dirt.

IMG_0583This is Discovery Cove (down the street from Sea World). It was so much fun! We swam with dolphins, went snorkeling, and floated down the lazy river that went through the aviary (that’s not even all there is there. Check out the website). It was a little chilly and it rained for some of the day, but that sure didn’t keep us from having fun.

When we went to SeaWorld my camera was in our van, which was at the hospital with my mom and dad, so I didn’t get any pictures from there. At least my aunt got pictures, but I don’t have any of those right now. That’s all the pictures I have from Orlando, tomorrow I will post at least  some of the ones from Marco Island.

Update and Some pictures

We have been so busy lately that I haven’t had any time at all to blog. The house is up for sale now and I finished an order of 35 sets of hand warmers, but now we are getting ready to go to Florida this week. So we’ll see how much I’m able to blog.

Today was the first time someone came to see the house. We got the house all clean and nice, then got the dogs into the van and went to sonic. The dogs love being in the car, but Molly goes completely crazy every time we stop or open the doors, so it was a bit difficult.

We stopped at Sonic and got shakes then went to a park area about 15 to 30 minutes. The dogs have never been out of our neighborhood, except for the vet, so they were loving it. Although molly was a little to excited she was pulling so hard she was nearly choking herself, but after awhile she calmed down. It was so perfect out, the lighting was perfect for pictures and the temperature and weather was perfect.
